    I came to the same conclusions as you, and I find I'm buying more stuff at Target and the grocery store and far less at Costco. I used to get cat litter at Costco for around $12 for 42 pounds, but nowadays it's closer to $18 for 42 pounds, so what's the point? I renewed my membership earlier this year and I think that was out of habit more than anything, because I haven't been there in weeks.

    I wonder if this applies to the 1/4 jack instrument in. I'm trying to see which is the best bang for buck for guitars. The priority being the total roundtrip latency for the least amount amount of live monitoring latency. I had a Focusrite Solo 1st for the longest time that had decent latency performance. Shouldn't be too much of an issue now that I own an i9 Ultra equipped laptop but still I'm curious

    Generally speaking calories in calories out holds true. There’re some more complicated things that occur when you loose weight. It primarily can be chalked up to individual differences which can be pretty significant. Peoples bmr can be drastically different sometimes. Carbohydrates get a bad wrap. It’s just easier to over eat carbohydrates as opposed to protein. Finally, building muscle through strength training is super important for long term success. You’re spot on man. Another issue many get incorrect is that they burn far less calories through exercise than they think. Many of these fitness trackers are to blame. However, these trackers can still be a tool if this is known.

    • @Dracomies
      @Dracomies 14 годин тому

      Yeah!! Spot on!! That’s one of the main reasons I was so compelled to do this video!!! It’s not a myth, it really does work! :D And you’re right. Even though I mentioned that eating is much more important than exercise. Exercise is that key differentiator of what makes you healthy and look good. You can have someone who lost a lot of weight but they don’t quite look athletic. And yip the food you eat is important. While both will make you lose weight, certain foods are certainly much healthier to eat.

    The most gullible fools are the patriotic ones who get suckered by nice patriotic stories and scammed into paying exorbitant prices. A notebook can be stapled or bound in Country A and be labelled as Made in Country A. But the papers and covers could be mostly made somewhere in Asia. Americans are so easily fooled by other Americans🤣🤣 Thats how you guys returned home from Iraq and Stan in body bags while the other clever Americans who sent you there to die, have bought properties overseas and enjoying a great life👍

    Nice. I don't mind some non-perishable things in relative bulk (8 rolls of paper towels or 500 qtips), but I agree about the food. Costco bulk is great for families with kids, but that's not me. 90% of the time I go to Costco is for the gas. 5% is for the flu shots. 5% for the rest.

You can fact check this by looking up vintage radios from the 80's. Panasonic is still around. That's why SSL went with Panasonic for quality and longevity.

    I discovered something new today: the Mossy Oak 12-in-1 tool is compatible with Wiha double-ended bits. Normally, I use the Mossy Oak tool with my bike setup, typically employing the 1/4 inch extender. However, by accident, I inserted a hex bit into the socket, and surprisingly, it worked. Curious, I tested other Wiha bits and found they worked too. A couple of years ago, during a sale at a local Wiha distribution center, I purchased some insulated screwdrivers and bits at half price. These have proven useful in my bike repair kit, where I continue to use the Mossy Oak tool.

    This gets really fascinating when your time gets more valuable. Let’s say you value your time at $2000 an hour. If you apply that you do things like throwing out your socks rather than washing them. I have never returned an item, even if they sent me the wrong item, it’s just not worth my time. If I don’t enjoy it, and it’s not paying me my hourly value of my time, I simply don’t do it. I don’t negotiate with people, I ask the price, if I like it I buy it, if not, I don’t engage further. This is culturally a problem for a lot of people but not for me (or Warren Buffet who I will note his hourly time value is a multiple of the hypothetical above). The transaction costs are just not worth it once you get to a certain point. This is why you see rich people doing things like throwing out valuable items. It’s not worth the time. You can make more money, your time is finite.

    • @Dracomies
      @Dracomies 2 дні тому

      There's a video you might find interesting that talks about this but basically this guy has the same approach. In this case I don't make nearly as much money as this guy - but I get what he's saying. But this is why I'm ok with ordering via apps, ie Doordash, because the time saved is worth the cost: ua-cam.com/users/shortsj4QL9xxUAHc It's not uncommon for me where I'll wait in a store but if the lines are full, I just flat-out walk out the store. I don't wait in line because it's not worth it; I don't bother with Black Friday deals because it isn't worth wasting the time.

    I bought this to replace a SE V7 which I didn't like because of the boxy low mids. The pros: nice clean low end and overall clear sound, great proximity effect that's not too boomy, looks pretty cool. Cons: handling noise is AWFUL, also it picks up more room noise than I'd like for a dynamic mic. If you're buying this for streaming you absolutely need a shock mount. Also you really need to keep about an inch away from the mic otherwise it'll sound thin.

      The Blue Yeti after a few years will have this humming sound. It just happens with a lot of Blue Yetis after a few years.

    I appreciate your insightful perspectives and hot takes on various topics-they're always intriguing. Please consider the following thoughts: Many store-bought first aid kits often contain either too much or too little of what you actually need. My recommendation is to divide them into 2-3 smaller kits, then add stuff. In most cases, band-aids are primarily for comfort or are used in multiples (I once applied eight bandages to cover a wound). Keep the First aid book with the kit, when people are stressed they forget basic stuff and having a book can calm the. It's crucial to know how to properly use the items in your kit. IMO, most people who carry tourniquets or Israeli bandages lack proper training. Incorrectly using an Israeli bandage rarely worsens the situation; however, a tourniquet can have the opposite effect. If you can't apply a tourniquet to yourself, there's little need to carry one; an Israeli bandage, hand pressure, or both should suffice. One critical item absent from 90% of first aid kits is a small bottle (50-75ml). Such a bottle can be invaluable for treating eye injuries with a quick squirt of water, or for flushing out deep cuts and animal bites to cleanse them effectively. I personally keep a small empty bottle handy and fill it with water as needed.

      That's a great point! I didn't think of adding a bottle. And yes you're correct about technique. Tourniquets are very much an if all else fails situation. Isreali bandage for sure would be the better option between the two. Though I still feel, given an option of not including a tourniquet or including one I'd opt for adding it :P

    If you don’t mind, please quit moving it around so much your camera can’t focus. I do like tonight though.
